Monte Carlo is the main tourist and residential area of Monaco, and also gives its name to the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, which uses the narrow streets as its circuit. The town sits behind a long, sandy beach and there is a popular casino, which provides the pain focus for the nightlife of the town.
