Our Guide to Shared and Shuttle Transfers

Getting to your holiday destination can be expensive, and a shared or shuttle transfer is a great value way of getting there if you’re travelling alone or in a small group of 2 or 3 people.

Not all of our shared and shuttle services operate a door to door transfer service, and instructions on how to find your transport when you arrive and leave will be on your booking voucher so please remember to always travel with your booking voucher especially as you may be refused entry onto the vehicle without it.

When booking a shared or shuttle transfer you pay for a seat on a minibus or coach that you share with other passengers who are either travelling to the same place as you, or to a different place on the same transfer route.  As a consequence transfer times are estimated and dependent on traffic as well as the number of stops en-route so if you want to get to your holiday accommodation as quickly as possible our private transfer service might be a better option for you.

Travelling from the airport to resort

When using a shared service please be aware that when you arrive at the airport you may have to wait for other passengers to arrive who are sharing your transport, and if you have booked a shuttle service there may be a wait as they run to a timetable so when booking a shuttle it’s always a good idea to try and book a flight that coincides with the shuttle’s departure times.

Should your flight be delayed the vehicle may have to leave without you, and if this were to happen we would do everything possible to get you on the next available shared or shuttle transfer to your holiday destination, however, we cannot guarantee that it would be possible on the same day.

Travelling from resort to the airport

Due to shared and shuttle transfers having multiple pick-ups, you may find that you have to leave earlier than if you were travelling by our private transfer service, and because others may need to be collected your departure pick-up time may change from that shown on your booking voucher so it’s vital that you call us at least 24 hours prior to your departure to get an accurate pick-up time.  Your booking voucher will have our contact details on it.

So if you’re looking for a budget option and you’re happy to share transport, pre-book a shared or shuttle transfer with us and you will have the security of knowing before you go how you will get from the airport to your accommodation allowing you to sit back and look forward to your holiday.

… and if you have decided that a shared or shuttle transfer is not exactly what you’re looking for, you can book our private transfer service.
