Private Transfer Guide
Our simple, easy to read Private Transfer Guide below illustrates why our pre-booked transfers are cheaper, more convenient and less hassle than car hire.
Why pre-book your airport transfer?
Organising your airport transfer is often the finishing touch to organising your own holiday, so we know the importance of making the right decision. Just like with low-cost airlines, prices and availability can vary greatly, so our first piece of advice would be to check out our prices at the same time as you look at your flights!
Our second, most important piece of advice is to check which airport is best for where you are going. Unfortunately this does not just mean looking at map, as certain routes incur tunnel fees or special road tolls. Need advice? Contact us.
What's included in the price of a transfer?
- Meet & greet service
- Luggage space for skis, snowboards and suitcases*
- Door to door private transport to accommodation
- Rental charge for baby / booster seat
- Vehicles are fully equipped for winter conditions with snow tyres and snow chains
- All transfer vehicles and drivers are fully insured and licensed
- Tolls and parking fees
- Professional and knowledgeable drivers
- Instant email confirmation
- 24hr Helpline ( English speaking)
- Guaranteed service
*We allow one piece of hand luggage and one large piece of luggage per person. We do cater for extra luggage (skis/snowboards) requirements but we need to know in advance to ensure the correct vehicle size is allocated. Please contact us for more details.
What's the advantage of pre-booking a transfer instead of hiring a car?
Even though most airports offer car rental, and the service allows you the freedom to drive yourself, renting a car can be a hassle and there are many hidden costs - from snow tyres to baby and booster seats. These necessary additional costs all add up on top of the car hire fee. Check out our like-for-like comparison below based on a family of four arriving at Geneva airport and spending a week in Méribel during the 2014/15 ski season both pre booking in advance.
Car Hire vs. Return Transfer

Obviously these services are different in many ways but considering the average holidaymaker is not experienced in driving on foreign alpine roads, and the fact that a car in a ski resort is more likely to be a burden than an asset, we think a private ski transfer is the most effective solution both financially and practically.
