Milan Airport Transfers

Milan-Malpensa Airport is situated 50 km northwest of Milan. It is one of three airports in the region (Milan-Linate and Bergamo being the other two) and the largest of the three. Malpensa Airport has two terminals, terminal 1 for scheduled flights and terminal 2 for low-fare airlines and charter.

Milan-Linate Airport is much smaller than Malpensa but is only 7km from the centre of Milan.

Bergamo Airport is situated 5km from Bergamo and 45 km from Milan. It is in the foothills of the Orobian Alps, along the Swiss border, making it convenient for Swiss as well as Italian and French ski resorts.

Resorts in the Aosta Valley ski area are only approximately 2 hours away from the Milan airports and airport transfers from Milan-Malpensa, Milan-Linate and Bergamo Airports can be easily arranged so that you can enjoy the Italian Alps or the French Alps this ski season.

Please note if you are travelling from Milan to any French resorts, transfers can cost more than you think, due to the high tunnel tolls that are incurred en-route, however we always incorporate these costs into our transfers.

For singles and couples our shuttle bus transfer option is particularly cost-effective from Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Bergamo airports. The shuttle runs to a number of resorts in the beautiful Aosta Valley, including Aosta, Cervinia, Champoluc, Courmayeur, Gressoney La Trinité, La Thuile, Pila and Valtournenche. For more information click here.

When arriving in Milan for all private taxi, minibus and coach transfers your driver will be waiting displaying our signboard with your party’s name displayed at the exit of the arrivals hall, please be aware this is a busy area and you may need to take a good look at all the signboards before you find your name!

For shuttle bus transfers specific meeting points will be indicated on your booking confirmation.

Booking a private taxi or shuttle bus  transfer from one of the Milan Airports, rather than opting for car hire, can save you money, as well as the stress of having to drive on foreign roads in wintery conditions. For more information check out our car hire vs ski transfer comparison page.

We strongly recommend booking your Milan transfer early as peak dates become very busy and shuttle transfers fill up, so take a wait off your mind and book your Milan taxi transfer today.
